Decal stickers or vinyl decals, whichever you call them, are basically the same thing. But there is a huge difference between conventional stickers and decals, because vinyl is a totally different material than regular old paper, so you can imagine how much longer a piece of vinyl is going to last than a piece of paper. When you order a printed full color decal, most of the time you receive that sticker with laminated surface included in the price, beware the non laminated as they won’t last nearly as long. Or if you order the die-cut decal it will not require lamination and will last just as long as if it were, you can really notice the difference between a decal sticker and a vinyl sticker. As you can see, decal stickers have a much nicer appearance than regular stickers, and there are much more applications due the high weather resistance of vinyl. Another thing to consider when having artwork prepared, is the size you are looking to have made, if you want a large graphic then you need a high dpi format which is dots per inch, which basically means the higher the resolution the more image you have to work with. So use a great camera or make sure when your artwork is designed, that you specify you want to be able to use it when ordering custom graphics so you will need your source files in high resolution formats.
